Meet Angelique!

Meet Angelique, the creator of D+M’s! Angelique has been crafting gifts and jewelry over the past 10 years, bringing an original and creative approach to the design process. No two pieces of handmade jewelry are exactly the same. She incorporates an inspired vision with passionate energy to create each and every piece. 

Angelique and her mother began creating oyster decor to help a family member who was diagnosed with short term memory loss after suffering a heart attack during pregnancy.  “We wanted to find something to help keep her brain working, as well as the therapeutic process,” she said. 

In her spare time, Angelique continued to help her mother with The Unique Oyster Boutique. As their hobby expanded, she began participating in art shows with an ever-growing love for creativity. Her passion for making home decor and gifts evolved one day after creating a keychain with crushed oyster shells and acrylic. Intrigued by the style, it inspired her to begin creating designer earrings. 

 “With the support of my family, we have all helped create a beautiful business.”

Angelique is a native of Louisiana and resides in Ponchatoula. The name D+M’s was chosen to honor her stepdaughter and two sons and represents the value of family and creativity.
